Villa Poseidon was born from Paola Ravallese's art of welcoming guests as a host, from her attention for details and from her way of just being so hospitable. This success comes from the family collaboration, in fact the owner works side by side with her children Conchita and Tristano Dello Ioio. Harmony, familiarity, hospitability, cordiality and availability are the sensations which are transmitted to the guests at Villa Poseidon. For a simple dinner, for an important event or for a sojourn, the atmosphere is exactly the same.

Orchidea, Mimosa, Camelia are just some of the names of our 10 suites, all with sea views. The rooms are all tastefully and elegantly furnished as well as bring bright and welcoming. At the same time, they are all different in terms of the colour schemes and details that make them stand out. Every suite has its own bathroom space that is well-equipped and comfortable. The light penetrates through the glass walls and reflects on the typical and precious hand-painted terracotta tiles. The balconies of the suites look out onto the greenery of our park and the blueness of the sea that merges with the colour of the sky.

The "Villa Poseidon" restaurant is characterised by a simple yet refined cuisine, where only high quality raw materials are used. The dishes express the passion of its chef, Giovanni Blucher, his Majestic experience and his desire to treat his guests well. You can choose from freshly-caught fish, amongst which you can also find blue fish, the chef's fresh pasta, from high-quality meat to a rich vegetarian dish, accompanied by fresh bread which has just come out of the oven and to finish, an exquisite dessert. More than 150 types of National wines, with a wide selection of wines coming from the Campanian region.

A few minutes' walk from Villa Poseidon it is possible to visit the historical city centre of Salerno with its churches, and the performances of the Verdi theatre, with its artistical director Daniel Oren. By car: the archaeological excavations of Pompeii (15 mins), the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Pompeii (15 mins), The Thermal Spas of Castellammare di Stabia (20 mins), the archaeological excavations of Varano (20 min), the archaeological excavations of Herculaneum, the ancient world of Paestum, the Coast of Amalfi, the Cilentan coast and the famous Vietri ceramics.
