District of the town of Positano, located in between an uncontaminated nature of holm oak trees, broom bushes, lemon groves and wineyards, Nocelle - the hazelnut borgo - is a small rural village pending between the sea and the sky and from where it is possible to enjoy one of the most enchanting views of the whole Amalfi Coast, from Capri to Punta Campanella.
Situated at short distance from the city centre and thanks to its strategic position, in the past , a pirate vessel patrol was activated with the task to advise the population of any imminent attack.
It is an ideal departure point for pleasant walks along the mountain paths: trekking fans can mix their passion of mountain excursions and their direct contact with mother-nature with one of the most impressive and exclusive panoramas of the World.
